Acceptance of terms

By using the Margin Seller web application or Chrome extension ("the Product"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Product. These terms apply to the free web calculator, the Seller plan, and the Pro plan.

Single purpose — margin planning only

The Chrome extension is a single-purpose tool. Its sole function is to read publicly visible product data from supported Walmart™ and Amazon™ product listing pages — when you actively choose to scan — and to display margin estimates in the side panel. The extension does not automate browsing, does not scrape data in the background, and does not interact with marketplace accounts or seller portals.

Planning estimates — not financial advice

All calculations produced by Margin Seller — including profit, margin, ROI, break-even price, maximum buy price, and fulfillment fee estimates — are planning estimates only. They are based on the numbers you enter and on publicly visible page data at the time of a scan. They are not financial, accounting, tax, legal, or investment advice and should not be treated as such.

Marketplace fees, referral rates, fulfillment costs, advertising costs, storage fees, return rates, exchange rates, and other variables change frequently and vary by product, category, seller account, and region. Always verify current fee schedules directly with the relevant marketplace before making a purchasing or pricing decision.

Trademark and third-party acknowledgments

The following trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used in this product solely for descriptive purposes to identify the marketplace platforms the tool supports. No affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement is implied:

• Amazon™, Amazon.com™, and FBA™ (Fulfillment by Amazon™) — registered trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc.
• WFS™ (Walmart Fulfillment Services™) — trademark of Walmart Inc.
• Google™ and Google Chrome™ — trademarks of Google LLC.

Use of these names does not imply endorsement by or affiliation with the respective trademark holders.

Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for verifying every input value, confirming current marketplace policies and fee schedules, assessing the legality of any product for your category and jurisdiction, and making independent business decisions. Do not rely on a Margin Seller estimate as the sole basis for an inventory purchase, pricing decision, advertising budget, or any other business commitment.

Acceptable use

You may use the Product for your own lawful product research as a marketplace seller or prospective seller. You may not:

• Use the extension to access, scrape, or automate any marketplace account, seller portal, or buyer account you do not personally own and control.
• Attempt to bypass, circumvent, or defeat any marketplace's technical protection measures, rate limits, bot-detection systems, or terms of service.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Product or its outputs as a standalone data service.
• Use the Product in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the extension in a way that creates a competing product without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Margin Seller and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of inventory value, business interruption, or data loss, arising from your use of or reliance on the Product or its estimates. The Product is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Availability and changes

Features, calculations, fee-schedule assumptions, page-reading behavior, and these Terms may change as the product develops. Continued use of the Product after a material update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will note material changes with an updated date on this page.

Subscriptions, billing, and access

Paid plans are recurring subscriptions at the price shown at checkout, currently Seller at $29 per month and Pro at $79 per month. Stripe processes checkout and billing. You can update payment details, change plans, or cancel through the billing portal in your account. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless applicable law or the billing provider requires otherwise. A subscription does not guarantee that a marketplace, listing, or Chrome Web Store review will remain available.

Chrome Web Store review and compliance

The Chrome extension is subject to Google's Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies and review decisions. Google may request additional information, delay publication, limit distribution, suspend access, or remove a listing. Margin Seller does not guarantee approval, a particular review time, or continued availability in the Chrome Web Store. You must use the extension only as permitted by Google's policies and the applicable marketplace terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
