Common questions
How do I scan a product?
Open any Walmart.com™ or Amazon.com™ product page, then click the Margin Seller icon in your Chrome toolbar. The side panel opens automatically and reads the listing price and title from the page.
Why is my listing price not filling in?
Make sure you're on a supported product detail page — Walmart /ip/ or Amazon /dp/ URLs. Refresh the page and try scanning again. If the page is still not detected, use the "Enter if the page price is unavailable" field to type the price manually.
Are the fees exact?
No. Referral and fulfillment fees are estimates based on the category, weight and size shown on the product page, and some fees (such as fuel surcharges) are not included. Confirm the exact fees in Seller Center before buying. Canadian pages on Amazon.ca and Walmart.ca are supported in CAD.
What does the free plan include?
The free plan gives you 5 margin scans per month with no account required. To save audits, export results, and unlock advanced planning tools, upgrade to Seller ($29/mo) or Pro ($79/mo).
How do I connect my plan to the extension?
Sign in to the web app, go to your Account page, and create an extension token. Paste the token into the extension side panel under "Connect with token" to link your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to your Account page and click "Manage billing". This opens the Stripe billing portal where you can cancel or update your plan at any time. You keep access until the end of your billing period.
Is my data stored on your servers?
Product scans and audit data are stored in your browser's local storage and are never sent to our servers unless you explicitly save an audit while signed in. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Chrome extension
The Margin Seller extension is available on the Chrome Web Store. If you're having trouble with the extension, try reloading it from chrome://extensions or reinstalling it.
